The CML transmitter is a Southern Avionics model which is amplitude modulated with a 400 Hz cw ident “CML”. Its output power is 50 Watts.
The antenna system comprises a 15 Metre shortened-vertical guyed mast, incorporating a capacitive top hat, ATU and ground-based counterpoise radials.
The NDB is configured to provide omni-directional coverage to a minimum range of 50 nautical miles for the aviation sector.
